Academic and Professional Partnership Program

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Whether you are beginning or finishing a degree, taking a college course or earning an industry-recognized certification, the relationships we have established through our Academic and Professional Partnerships (APP) program can help you achieve your educational goals in a cost-efficient manner. The APP program is available to eligible XPO employees, and in many cases, your family members.

XPO also offers financial assistance through the Tuition Reimbursement program to benefits-eligible U.S. employees.

Eligibility

In general, you are eligible for the APP program if you are an XPO employee who is not represented by a union.

If you are represented by a union, the XPO Academic and Professional Partnership program, which allows you and, in some cases, your family members to enroll in classes offered by certain academic partners with a reduced tuition charge, is subject to collective bargaining with your union. To the extent such a program is negotiated with a union, the terms and conditions agreed upon and included in any collective bargaining agreement will govern, and they supersede any different or conflicting terms contained on this website.

Subject to the foregoing obligations, the company reserves the right to revise or delete this program or any benefits described here. If there is any discrepancy between the information included in this website and any program documents or academic partnership contracts, the official document or contracts will govern program terms. This program does not create a contract of employment, expressed or implied. The University of Arizona Global Campus

The University of Arizona Global Campus (formerly Ashford University) is an accredited online university that offers more than 60 online college degree programs. Through XPO’s partnership with Global Campus, you can earn a college degree while working full-time and minimize loan debt through the Global Campus Employee Tuition Savings and XPO’s tuition reimbursement programs.

Capella University

Capella University offers two flexible online learning formats to meet your learning style and schedule needs. FlexPath lets you set personal deadlines and move through coursework at your own pace, or you can pursue a traditional degree program online. Find the path that’s right for you and discover the significant tuition discounts available to both you and your direct family members.

Cornell

Cornell University’s online learning platform, eCornell, delivers online courses and professional certificate training to individuals and organizations around the world. Courses include leadership and management, marketing, finance, data science and human resources. As a student, you’ll gain skills that apply directly to your work. Through this academic partnership, our XPO employee benefit is a 50% discount rate for a single course. For example, your discounted fee will be $325 per course instead of $769 per course.

DeVry University

DeVry University offers eligible new students the opportunity to take one three-credit-hour course for academic credit at no tuition cost. In addition to the complimentary course, DeVry offers 25% tuition savings for all additional courses. These benefits are also available to members of your immediate family. Whether you’re interested in exploring a certificate program, an undergraduate degree or a graduate degree, DeVry offers a flexible learning path to help you maintain a positive work-life-school balance.

Drexel University

Drexel University offers more than 150 online degree programs and certificates in business, engineering, computer science and legal studies. You and your immediate family members can receive discounts ranging from 10%-40% depending on the program you choose. In addition, there are no application fees and deferred billing is available.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Through its membership in the Industrial Liaison Program, MIT provides XPO employees with a 15% discount on open enrollment programs offered through MIT Sloan Executive Education and MIT Professional Education courses. In addition, XPO employees have access to a video archive of digital online presentations and MIT Industrial Liaison Program conferences.

Penn State World Campus

Penn State World Campus offers you, your spouse and your legal dependents exclusive education benefits, including a 5% tuition reduction. You can choose from more than 150 online programs, including degrees and certificates in business and management, supply chain, project management and more. You also have access to academic advice, career counseling, technical support, alumni services and a financial literacy staff.

Southern New Hampshire University

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) offers more than 200 affordable associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. University of Maryland Global Campus

You, your spouse and dependents can save up to 25% on tuition at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC).
